Italy triumphs after giving up a goal to France in 13 seconds.
France and Italy, the two European superpowers who failed in the Euros, met yesterday in the Nations League match. However, as the game was played at home and considering their recent form, France were the favourites. Kylian Mbappe-Antoine Griezmann gave Italy a strong start by scoring in just 13 seconds. But after that, everything changed as if the feast. Italy bounced back in style and won the match 3–1.
Italy fell behind to a Bradley Barcola goal before a minute had passed in Paris. They could have equalized if David Frattesi's header had not hit the post after 6 minutes. However, despite the missed opportunity, Italy returned to the match in the 30th minute. Federico DiMarco equalized the Azzurri with a great goal. The first half ended in a draw. After the break, Frattesi put Italy ahead with a superb finish in the 50th minute. Then in the 74th minute, Luciano Spalletti's team increased the gap with the goal of Giacomo Raspadori.
Italy's race stopped in the second round in the last Euro. After that loss against Switzerland, the team had to face a lot of criticism. However, the team regained some confidence after defeating France.
